We are excited to have Naomi Moon Siegel joining us for an evening all the way from the Pacific Northwest!
An award-winning trombonist, improviser, composer, and educator, Naomi Moon Siegel is committed to creating a positive, transformative music culture beyond conventional genre norms. Her original musical vocabulary draws on the richness of a variety of global musical traditions and the sonorities of the natural world. She explores the trombone as a vehicle for sonic expression colored by breath, spit, and physicality, allowing her lyrical sound to unfurl intuitively. Naomi will perform an improvised solo set with electronics.

We have just added percussionist, Erik Schmidt to the bill! A little bit about Erik below:
Erik Schmidt is a freelancing and collaborative percussionist based in Greensboro, NC. Erik has performed across the US and internationally as a chamber musician, orchestral musician, and soloist. This Sunday, he will perform a series of explorations of rhythmic concepts and structures derived from his love Arabic music, progressive fusion, and mathematical concepts using a captivating and inventive array of percussive sounds.
